As pre-pandemic era opportunities return and new programs evolve, Inwood Academy for Leadership Charter School (IALCS) is harnessing the best programs to offer to pave a bright future for our upcoming leaders. On Thursday, November 10, join us for unlimited drinks and a taste of Republica’s Caribbean cuisine to celebrate our resilient community and pay tribute to our leaders for their outstanding commitment to our mission in a changed—and still changing—borough. IALCS will also present the Inwood Academy Community Trailblazer Award to celebrate and honor individuals who have both contributed significantly to their fields and have created new opportunities and pathways for themselves and others. The Community Trailblazer Award aims to highlight innovative individuals who have built their career and passion in the community while always giving back to their roots. This year, our first Community Trailblazer Award will go to Founder & CEO of Stargo Films and Dyckman Diaries, Charlie Gomez. Join our networking event to connect with other community leaders, local businesses and alumni as we build opportunities for our emerging leaders. All proceeds from the event will go towards Inwood Academy’s College & Career Success Program.
