This month Dinnerfour8 celebrates our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY with an international journey through cuisines, sites, and sounds. This month Italy! On November 19, 2022, our featured musical guest is Yeeun Kim. Yeeun Kim is a jazz pianist, arranger, composer, educator, singer-songwriter, and pipe organist from South Korea. She is a Graduate Teaching Fellow for the Jazz Piano Performance at University of North Texas, where she is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance with a concentration in Jazz Studies. She earned her master’s degree in Jazz Studies from UNT. She is a former jazz pianist in the prestigious One O’ Clock Lab band, having played for the band in 2020, and was a selectee in the 2022 Sisters in Jazz Collegiate Combo Competition for jazz piano. She actively performs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, having performed in various performances such as the Sundance Square Music Series, Fever Dallas Jazz Concert, and Flamenco Dallas Festival alongside legendary Flamenco saxophonist, Jorge Pardo. She is a versatile musician, able to arrange and play a diverse range of genres, from jazz to classical music to sacred music and more. She currently serves as the Director of Choir and Organist at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fort Worth, Texas. As a special treat we are also featuring Visual Artist , Amy Daniels who will install her piece “Dollbaby” Dollbaby was a piece she did in honor of Ms. Pearl her mothers' dearest friend. “She’d call me and my sisters that. It is a beautiful childhood memory” Come join us as the celebration continues!! We are so excited to share her talent.
