The Derek Holland 60 Feet 6 Foundation Charity Event is being held right here at Lava Cantina with a Special Guest Performance on Thursday, November 10th starting at 6 PM!! The 60 Feet 6 Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established by Major League Baseball pitcher Derek Holland in 2014. The foundation’s direction has been shaped by Holland’s on and off the field experiences, which have had a profound effect on his commitment to helping others. Join us for our 8th Annual Fundraiser at Lava Cantina, featuring Casey Donahew! This year, we have the honor of continuing our partnership with two greatly impactful charities - Children’s Cancer Fund and One Tribe Foundation. Both of these organizations are doing truly meaningful work in DFW and beyond, and we are so humbled to support them in their efforts. Children’s Cancer Fund pushes forth an incredible mission -to find a cure for all childhood cancers and support families affected by cancer. The remain steadfast in their work to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer care, research and programs. One Tribe Foundation’s mission is to create a community that raises awareness and combats suicide by empowering veterans, first responders, medical frontline workers and their families through traditional and non-traditional therapies. WHAT TO EXPECT 6:00: Doors Open! Lava Cantina has generously donated their entire space for our event! They’re the best and we’d love if you could help us show them some love in return. Grab dinner and drinks inside before the concert … or go outside to shop with our partner vendors, check out our silent auction and raffle tables, and grab a drink. Those with reserved outdoor tables can arrive as early as 6pm to order dinner and drinks. The balcony area will be open for ticketed pre-party guests, reserved tables and rail seat guests, and 60 Feet 6 Foundation VIPs. 6:30 to 7:30: Pre-Party with Derek Holland + Surprise Guests What better way to start the night off than hanging out with Derek and friends! We’ll have a tequila tasting + demonstration as well as food and drinks for our guests. 7:30 to 8:00: Meet and Greet with Headlining Performer We can’t publicly announce him until October 23 but we promise you won’t be disappointed! You can purchase your M+G tickets starting now … or you can wait until our public announcement. We expect these to sell fast since there are only 50 of these tickets available and our VIPs have the scoop on who’s performing. Dancing and good times as our surprise headliner plays your Texas country favorites. 11:00: After Party at Lava Cantina (Indoors) Not ready to go home yet?
