Registration and Breakfast: 8:30 AM Presentation: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Agenda: Join DMJPS CPAs + Advisors for an in-person annual CPE event open to friends, colleagues, and industry professionals. DMJPS presenter, Art Winstead, will return to share and present the annual ethics material. Professional Ethics & North Carolina Laws and Rules Presenter: Arthur M. Winstead, Jr., CPA Participants gain a better understanding of the framework established for CPAs following the AICPA Code of Ethics, other regulatory bodies, and the North Carolina Rules for CPAs practicing in North Carolina. Key topics and case studies address: Authoritative Bodies  CPA Code of Professional ConductRules of ConductNC CPA Laws and RulesExplore Hot Topics; CPA Evolution, Place of Work for Remote Workers, Retired Status in N.C. This course satisfies the 50-minutes of annual Ethics CPE course requirement for all licensed North Carolina CPAs. *DMJPS PLLC is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org. DMJPS continues the tradition of collecting for a community partner in lieu of charging a registration fee for our events. This year we will be assisting Toys for Tots.
