Fashion designer with 17 years experience in all types of fabrics and designs. My specialty is working with natural fabrics, and doing occasion and specialty wear, such as bridal parties, pageants, proms and special occasion items. Services include: Design consultation (works well for bridal, pageantry, costuming, and entertainment projects) Wardrobing (private or project) Designing Dressmaking Alterations Beading & Rhinestone projects Millinery (Hatmaking for women) Hatting (Hatmaking for men) Hat redesigning, reshaping, cleaning, and sizing DTM (Dyed to match) projects Tailoring Draping Patternmaking Line design Grading Fashion Illustration (typically go with consultation) Tech sketches (can be included with line designing) I am not cheap, but my rate is calculated by the project and not hourly. Additionally, what would take me 4 hours to complete will take others about 2 days, so as the saying goes, you pay for what you get. I am an internationally trained commercial designer, who designed for several stores in downtown Seattle for 14 years, and won several awards during this time. My knowledge is not just in designing, but also in fabric science, and that in itself will save you a ton of heartache (and money!). Portfolio upon request.
