This Evergy workshop is open to anyone interested in learning more about electrical safety, including farmers & ranchers, maintenance & safety teams, public works employees and all emergency responders. We have multiple sessions scheduled, with each session geared towards a specific targeted audience. Please see below. Available Sessions: Session1: Monday, November 7th. 9:00am-11:30am - First Responders, includes 2.5 CEU credits Session 2: Monday, November 7th. 1:00pm-3:30pm - First Responders, includes 2.5 CEU credits Session 5: Wednesday, November 9th. 9:00am-11:00am - Construction/Contractors/City Workers/Municipalities/Agriculture/Implement Dealerships Session 6: Wednesday, November 9th. 1:00pm-3:30pm - Construction/Contractors/City Workers/Municipalities/Agriculture/Implement Dealerships Session 7: Thursday, November 10th. 9:00am-11:00am - Construction/Contractors/City Workers/Municipalities/Agriculture/Implement Dealerships Session 8: Thursday, November 10th. 1:00pm-3:30pm - Construction/Contractors/City Workers/Municipalities/Agriculture/Implement Dealerships Each session will be capped at 50 attendees, so registration is on a first come first serve basis. Location: Evergy Cedar Point Safety & Training Facility. 10056 Raytown Road Kansas City, MO. The safety presentation will cover: • Kansas Statute & OSHA – It’s the Law! • Hazards associated with electricity • How electricity effects the human body • Live Hot Trailer demonstration • Voltage gradient, touch & step potential • Don’t forget to look up! *The First Responder sessions will include 2.5 CEU credits.
