Destiny "Dee" is a young curious four-year-old girl who enjoys taking nature adventures. This time she is in her Grandma’s backyard garden, also known as the Out Back in the Sonoran Desert, getting ready for the sweet potato harvest season. Diona Williams is a full-time Early Childhood Education Professor at Tohono O'odham Community College. She loves teaching college students about Early Childhood Education and Psychology, but she also enjoys working with young children and families. She decided to leave public education to pursue higher education and start a home-based Nature-based Preschool Program. She has worked with children from birth to age 8 for over 20 years. Her career has allowed her to work as an Infant/Toddler Mental Health Clinician II (behavioral health), Early Interventionist, and CHILD Find Team/Public Educator as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. Now, she is a first-time children's book author.
