Hello, my name is Andrea. I am offering my services as a home childcare provider. I have 2 years of experience working in licensed facilities. I have taught Pre-Kindergarten and Toddlers, ages 2-3 years old. I was also an after school teacher for Catapult Learning in San Bernardino, CA to help 4th and 5th grade students who were struggling with math concepts. I recently worked for Dawn of Education here in Las Vegas as a Lead Teacher for both Toddler Rooms. I developed a circle time in the rooms in which the Toddlers were highly engaged and saw to it that the children in the Toddler Rooms were developing the social and emotional skills they needed to express themselves as their progress and their critical language skills grew. I worked at Asa Charter School in San Bernardino, CA as an afterschool teacher and Teachers Assistant for kindergarten. I also was the subsitute for the kindergarten teacher we she had to be out. While there I was selected to create a tutoring program for math and reading. The math program consisted of grades 6 and 7. The reading program focused on grades 1 to 3. In July of 2023 I will have completed my Associates of Science in Early Childhood Development. I owned and operated a Family Child Care while living in California that served families with children ages 1 to 5 years old. I wrote and implemented my own curriculum that proved to be highly successful for the children and families that I served.
