In search of a soulful, smooth yet gritty female singer to share leads and three/four part harmonies along with percussion and syncopated moves with fellow front male singer. This six person ensemble consisting of vocals, keys, drums, bass, saxophone and guitar. We are underway and already off the ground. We work on an array of arranged and re-arranged full tilt Funk, R&B and Sizzlin' Soul. If you're a real vocal deal and been around the block a few times, that's what we're looking for. Playing Scary Pockets-esk arrangements (Youtube it) James Brown, Tower of Power, Steely Dan, Afro/Cuban with smatterings of danceable Latin feels. This could be your ride with a fun serious and committed group of musical souls. Rehearsals are once a week and drama/egos are always left outside in the trunks of our cars!
