TUSCALOOSA, AL — Health care workers at The University of Alabama's University Medical Center were first in line Friday as the university began to administer its first doses of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine. The university said this week it had received roughly 3,500 doses of the vaccine and was already in this process of notifying those eligible of their opportunity to make appointments.
