Low Cost – Drive Up dog and cat vaccinations are taking place by appointment only on Saturday, November 19th for Jackson County residents who need to vaccinate their animals and license their dogs. Dog licensing is required at this low cost clinic. Location is at Jackson County Animal Services, 5595 So. Pacific Hwy (99) in Phoenix near Talent. The last day to call for an appointment is Nov. 18th, however, all cat timeslots for November are filled at the time of this posting. To schedule an appointment for your dog and for more information, check or call . Pets whom are ill, on antibiotics, in heat, or on cortisone products cannot be vaccinated. Vaccines and Licensing Costs/Payment Vaccinations available for dogs (CASH ONLY as this fee goes to the veterinarian) are: Rabies ($10 cash for each vaccine) and Distemper/Parvo booster ($15 cash for each vaccine}. By law, all dogs six months of age and older are required to be vaccinated for rabies and licensed. Dog license fees (Check or Credit/Debit Card, or Cash) vary based on the number of years being licensed for ($25 for one year, $50 for two or three years), and there are also discounts for veterans and senior owners 62 years and older. No nail trimming will be done. These low cost vaccination clinics are held on the third Saturday of every month.
