Help Needed. Down on my Luck

I usually do not ask for help, I try to take care of things or come up with a solution on my own. But at this point I am starting to get a little desperate. I have been out of work since June of this year and my unemployment just ran out. My car got totaled 3 months ago so now I am carless. Fortunately I am not homeless. I am actively looking for work but I am a unique position of being over qualified for most jobs and at 57 being a little to long in years for the jobs I am qualified for, at least that's my take on it. I am a very positive person mostly but sometimes it gets hard. Most of us know how that goes. So my need here is a car and a job. I am not the youngster I used to be where I can do any physical job, gone are those days. I am a professional, Operations/Manager by trade. Office, warehouse, transportation, customer service, just about anything I can manage it. As for a car, I am not sure how to get this without a job and little money. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
