Global inflation is not caused by US government spending. However, if you want to claim that, keep a few facts in mind. Trump spent $5 trillion on stimulus, mostly to large corporations. Biden spent $2.5 trillion on stimulus. Trump also spent $2 trillion on welfare for millionaires. (Middle class tax cut? My taxes went up dramatically, as I expect all bay area home owners' did.) Trump added over $7 trillion to the national debt in 4 years, more than any other president has in 8 or more years. Adjusted for inflation, World War 2 cost about half that much.
