I find this hilarious, Are the Repubs going to be fighting each other? Repub spending thru the 4 years of Trump has added more to the national debt than any 8 year period in US history. Raising the debt limit is necessary to pay off the money they have already spent. Just like you maxing out your credit card and then refusing to pay the bill. If Repubs take over Congress, they will lose their ability to vote for default, as they usually do. They will have to put on their big boy panties or cause the collapse of the global economic system, which will hurt the US more than it will any other country. I hope they understand this better than their supporters do. The truth of this will scare Repubs and their Russian trolls to death. Lets see how long it takes them to flag it.
