Hello! I have a 8 month golden retriever female. (Not fixed) We got her shortly after we had our son and wanted to see them grow up together but have been running into some behavior/boundary issues we are having. I think it’s more jealousy she’s having towards our son even thought we give her so much attention. She has some anxiety and think she would do best in a home with someone who has a dog already, she loves having a friend to play with. She’s very sweet, and loving. She’s potty trained and walks ok on the leash. She does sleep in the crate at night but it isn’t her favorite. She got her first and second shots and dewormer when we got her from the breeder but haven’t been able to get her into any vet due to being booked so she will need to go in and get updated on her vaccines. She’s healthy, loves to play, energetic. Still nervous with new people, needs to be socialized more. I’m not going to rehome her to just anyone, and I’m definitely not in any hurry. I would love to hear from someone who believes that can provide the best home for her and can tell me why. She’s my whole heart but it’s hard for her to be a dog here and it’s hard for my son to be a baby, she deserves more.
