Description
Rehoming my cat Huckie. I’ve developed an allergy to cat hair, and so I need to have him live somewhere else. I am a younger male and live with my Mom (older female). Huck showed up in our backyard, almost starving to death 3 years ago, and we kept him, and he’s been a pretty nice cat. We guess he’s around 12 years old, but still very active and playful. He loves the outdoors, so he’d need to be able to go outside at his new home. He spends more time inside when it’s rainy and cold, and he always likes to be around people. He loves petting, and he also gets a bit crazy around food. We don’t give him anything extra, he just gets very focused on food during his feeding time. He’s neutered, and has been given regular shots (rabies vaccine, some others). He’s a larger cat (big framed), and he does shed some hair in the Summer months.
I want Huck to have a really nice new home, he’s been a good cat. He’d be best in a smoke free household without dogs. One other cat may be fine. He’s also more uncomfortable around male than female people, but it won’t take long for him to get comfortable once he’s around you often enough. We have all his supplies and food, and we ask you give him the same (or another similar) food. If he sounds like a good fit, and be happy to set up a time for you to meet him. He may be shy at first, but it won’t take long for him to open up and want lots of petting!
