Cat & Kitten Adoption Event

Events

1505 University Dr E, Bryan TX

Description

BCS Spay holds adoption events Saturday afternoons 2-5pm at the College Station Petsmart on University Drive (back by the cat litter). All our cats and kittens needing homes are spayed/neutered and microchipped for identification. They are up-to-date on vaccinations for rabies and FVRCP. Most are good with other cats but have not been around dogs or children (unless noted). Adoption fees range from $40 for adult cats over a year old to $80 for kittens under six months old. We include some extra goodies such as soft-sided carriers, bowls, toys, and nail clippers with adoptions (while supplies last). Reply to this post for our adoption application or apply at the adoption event. Planning to attend Saturday, November 5 are: - Bagel & Biscotti, brown tabby sisters around 5 months old (should be adopted together), - Baguette, a black male kitten around 5 months old, - Martina, a brown tabby female kitten around 6 months old, - Robin, a dilute torbie female kitten around 6 months old, - Peanut, a young orange female cat around 2 years old (if we can get her in a carrier). Others available for individual meetings with an approved application (some might attend future adoption events): - Beckie, a dilute gray torbie female kitten around 3 months old, - Wendy, a solid black female cat around a year old, - Little Bit, a small brown tabby female cat around 2 years old, - Cleo & Roxy, bonded solid black females around 4 years old (special needs due to eye issues, on special diet, OK with dogs), - Columbus, a brown tabby male around 4 years old (would do best adopted with his sister Connie), - Charlie Chaplin, a big black/white tuxedo male around 8 years old, - Winona, a small, bossy, black/white tuxedo female cat 8 years old, - Newman, an orange/white male cat around 8 years old (special needs takes meds to help him pee/poop, OK with dogs), - Marta, a fluffy dark gray female cat around 11 years old with only a few teeth left (scared of dogs). We have some more kittens who should be ready for adoption in the coming weeks (including a pretty calico female). Or let us know if you are interested in fostering cats or kittens while they wait for forever homes. We provide supplies and pay for essential vet care (fostering to adopt can be an option for kitties that are not ready to be adopted yet due to needing to get fixed, treated for a medical issue, or better socialized). We can provide information on low-cost spay/neuter options in our area for pets or feral/community cats.
