We have immediate openings for Machine Operators and Machinists, in everything from Material Prep to Machining. You’ll operate work cell specific machines and equipment, use measuring tools and techniques and uphold process and safety protocols to assure the highest quality industrial ceramic products are delivered to our customers. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year working with manufacturing machines and equipment Mechanical ability and aptitude Some roles require the following additional qualifications: Knowledge of product quality concepts and ISO principles Ability to use measuring tools, such as micrometers, gauges and comparators Basic understanding of electricity Experience with machining and grinding (centerless and/or surface) Machine Operator II Perform all processing steps necessary for the flow of product through the Metallizing & Plating work cell; ensure product quality and adherence to appropriate processing standards; assist and instruct other departmental employees as directed. You will have the opportunity to: Operate all essential machines and/or equipment in the work cell Identify and actively participate in continuous improvements of safety, quality, and production May perform basic maintenance repair Operate hydrogen calcining and sintering furnaces, must maintain specified firing profiles Set up and perform various types of metallizing, including screen printing, through hole printing, brushing, etc. Train other employees on proper equipment operation and/or setup Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Two or more years experience with work cell-specific machines and equipment Knowledge of product quality concepts and ISO principles Can use a variety of inspection and measuring tools and techniques, including comparators if necessary Job title: CNC Machinist Perform machining tasks to tight tolerance, minimize scrap and rework, perform PMs on regular basis, lead machine safety and workplace compliance requirements, demonstrate professional conduct at all times, maintain an inventory of tooling and fixtures, work effectively with vendors in ordering and acquiring tooling. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED) Minimum of 4 years experience with work cell-specific machines and equipment Knowledge of product quality concepts and ISO principles Can follow procedures, correctly approve, reject, and disposition product in the work cell Can use a variety of inspection and measuring tools and techniques, including comparators if necessary Create or modify process procedures when warranted and with proper input from work cell or support leadership Senior Quality Inspector Inspect parts to appropriate visual and dimensional customer specifications; share responsibility for final quality to the customer; run reports and understand the work cell priorities; work closely with production; must be dedicated to "on time" results, committed to having no customer returns. You will have the opportunity to: Conduct dimensional inspections; use sales orders to apply correct customer specifications or exceptions Read and understand part prints and tolerances, know the order of governing documents Use a variety of measuring and data recording equipment, including at least micrometers (various types and sizes), profilometer, and metallographic camera. Train other employees on job duties, SOPs, and/or proper handling and processing functions as directed Prepare reports, calculate and record statistical data as needed to reflect quality status of products Requirements: Technical degree or equivalent related training 5 or more years of experience in quality-related discipline or field Can use a variety of inspection and measuring tools and techniques, including comparators Intermediate computer skills including understanding of systems like SAP, Microsoft Office Suite Operate and calibrate various mechanical, electronic, optical, and nondestructive test instruments Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance- 1st Shift The Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technician requires a vigorous safety orientation and application of advanced electrical/electronicskills. It includes a variety of objectives such as keeping electrical equipment and control instruments in good repair and safe operating condition; installing and maintaining complex electrical equipment; setting up, adjusting, and maintaining process control equipment; developing and designing electrical and electronic circuits, diagrams, and schematics for existing equipment upgrades and modifications. You will have the opportunity to: Troubleshoots and repair control circuits to maintain on-line service of controllers Install, troubleshoot, make alterations, and maintain panels and related equipment including control and all types of starting equipment, relay, contractor, variable speed controller, furnace and heating circuits, and all types of transformers and safety indicators Build new instrument or electrical systems from sketches, diagrams, or prints Troubleshoot plant power distribution from incoming transformers and MCC panels through service voltage outlets insuring that electrical all code provisions are followed Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems Requirements: High school education with advanced training in electrical maintenance, electronics, and/or AS in Manufacturing Sciences or related field Able to work with machines and equipment that are 3 Phase, 480 Volts Able to effectively train others and help develop co-worker skills; prior supervisory experience a plus Working knowledge of hydraulics, vacuum systems, and CNC equipment a significant plus Comfortable wearing all forms of personal protective equipment devices such as respirators and protective gloves, work shoes, and eyewear Industrial Maintenance Mechanic- 1st Shift Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Facilities Technician will provide support and assistance as needed to the Production, Engineering, Quality, and Environmental Health and Safety Departments. This position also assists in the installation and start-up of new production equipment and automation, establishes new routine PM procedures, often works from SAP generated work orders, and supports required recordkeeping practices for Federal, Local, and State regulations. You Will Have the Opportunity to: Read and interpret machine manuals, schematics, mechanical drawings, and basic electrical wiring schematics. Repair and support ventilation systems, and process support equipment such as rotary screw air compressors, dryers, HVAC, chilled water systems, and other facility machinery. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within an industrial maintenance facility. Verifiable specialized Mechanical Maintenance training or Vocational training in Maintenance disciplines preferred. Familiarity with maintenance scheduling and preventive maintenance programs. Prior work with SAP and Lotus Notes preferred.
