I am looking for someone who is willing to take my boy Ali in. He is about 7/8 years old and has been fixed. I have had him since he was about 2 years old. It's hard for me to do this, but I believe it will best for him to be rehomed in a better and quieter environment. Ali is a great companion dog. He loves people. For the most part he is quiet and loves to be outside. He lays on the porch for most of the day in the sun and then comes in at night. He has never shown any aggression towards people. Unfortunately, I have to rehome him because there are too many loose dogs in my neighborhood complex. He is very aggressive toward other dogs. I have 2 other dogs, which he tolerates because he is used to them. I'm scared for their safety and his safety. He has already bitten 2 dogs in the neighborhood that were off- leash. They ran up to him while he was on the leash being walked. After that, I purchased a muzzle for him. He does not mind wearing the muzzle, but he is still aggressive. I'm scared that if it happens again next time that Animal Control may out him down. I have a hard time accepting that he is too aggressive for me to handle. I trust that I am acting in his best interests by rehoming him into a new place. He would make a GREAT outside dog. Honestly, I think he prefers to be outside anyway. He is outside on the porch for most of the day when the sun is out. If someone is willing to give him a chance. please let me know. He's great, just not around other dogs.
