Seeking versatile keyboard player for start up cover group. Members are somewhat older with material that is both young and old trying to hand select covers that will be interesting to listeners. Instrumentation is voice, voice, guitar, keyboard, bass, drums Material calls for playing many different grooves and styles to be unique and have energy, Funk…raggae….r and b for example, but very little rock. Looking for a variety of keyboard sounds...including fender Rhodes, hammond, some synth Must be able to improvise solos and fills even though wasn’t called for on original recording Do you sing as well? Harmony/lead? Group has big vocal presence. Sample of material: dua lippa-levitating ray charles- hit the road jack Lizzo-juice moondance lana del rey- doin time lauper - time after time Many of the songs are reimagined, and recreated, not necessarily copied. Ability to read a lead sheet or chord sheet is good. Groups goal is to perform couple times a month - wine bars, wineries, and some bars Rehearsals are monday evenings. Thank you
