The Service Technician position is a full-time role with overtime opportunity, and some weekends. Responsibilities involve completing roof repairs, such as sealing pipes, replacing broken or lost shingles and tiles, cleaning leak causing debris, and a variety of roof service and other innovative product solutions for property owners.   Roof Rx is dedicated to providing remarkable service and is committed to supporting the personal development of our Service Technicians. We provide the necessary training needed to achieve these goals, for the right candidate(s).   Key Experience/Skills:  On the job experience providing service maintenance, repairs, or general construction experience.  Experience with safely using ladders and hand tools. (lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs., from the street to structures.) Ability to safely access and work at the rooftop level, with applied safety protocols.  Good verbal communication skills (English preferred)  Strong Desire to serve customers, internal and external, with a commitment to Quality.   Personal accountability with an ownership mentality  Ability to professionally raise suggestions for improvement for the company and solutions for customers.  Ability to interact with a wide variety of homeowners and create an excellent customer experience.   Ability to use common mobile technology. (prior experience is a plus, and will train the right candidates)  Willingness to perform other innovative service solutions for homeowners.  Job Duties:  Set up and break down job sites, including ladder(s), debris cleanup, and customer communication.   Perform and complete prescribed repairs on low slope and steep slope roofing systems, safely.  Photograph all work in progress and work completed, for customers, per company standards  Provide remarkable service for our customers, every time. Participate in and be responsible for safety per company protocols and OSHA standards. Participation and attendance to all required company meetings/events Removal and Installation of penetration flashings and racking mounts Maintain and care for all company resources, including company vehicle and related maintenance Accurately complete company required reports, including time-keeping records and production records Occasionally up-sell necessary change orders and/or additional service requests for customers.
