Summary: The Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver will perform manual lifting and driving work. This person will report to the Warehouse Manager and works as part of the team in providing delivery and pickups services to our clients and maintaining the warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Drive assigned route, delivering company’s products in a safe, timely and professional manner. -Assist in all aspects of the warehouse as needed. -Shipping, receiving, loading, and general warehouse tasks. This role can change daily based off the workload. -Provide excellent customer service to all assigned accounts. -Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and others you meet through your job. -Adhere to and follow all company policies, procedures, and governmental regulations. -Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned. -Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company’s core values. -Keep truck clean inside and out -Drive truck in a safe manner always -Report maintenance problems to the facilities manager or supervisor. -Keep in close contact with the Warehouse Manager, -Follow all safety and security regulations and precautions. -Use equipment and materials in a safe manner. -Help with maintenance of truck and equipment (greasing small repairs, etc.). -Complete delivery paperwork accurately and timely. -Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality. -Help in the Warehouse, Shop, and will assist in other areas as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent skill level. Minimum six (6) months previous driving experience and knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations required. Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Must be able to provide proof of insurance. Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment described below represent the activities and surroundings of the positions. The work is typically performed indoors (e.g. warehouse, shop and office environments) and outdoors. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for long periods of time. -The employee must constantly reach with hands, fingers, legs, and feet to drive. -Incumbent must be able to grasp with hands use power/manual pallet jack. -Will be required to bend, stoop, crouch, squat, and use arms, wrists and hands to properly lift 50 pounds or less on a frequent basis. Will carry and lift 70 pounds or less occasionally. Must be able to lift equipment from the floor to overhead. -Able to move 50 pounds or less frequently, 100 pounds or less occasionally. -Able to push/pull 50 pounds repetitively and up to 175 pounds, with moderate effort frequently. Maximum effort occasionally. -Able to stand and remain on feet for up to 6 hours per day; 2 hours continuously. -Able to see objects closely, discriminate colors, perceive depth continuously. -Able to drive company van or delivery truck for pick-up and delivery of supplies or parts to/from our customers. -Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils. -Employee must be able to work in close contact with small and large groups. -Frequent hearing talking on a regular basis is required.
