On November 24, 2018, a young man, Krystofer Watson lost his life on the HPEC trail, through an intentional drug overdose. This year, marking the 4th anniversary of Krys' death, we will install a memorial bench at HPEC. Krys' family will host a small reception to thank the first responders, officers, and others connected with this tragic event. The public is welcome to attend.
