Description

The Rescheduled Williamsburg 2002 Book Festival features Cherokee Nation author and William & Mary graduate Annette Saunooke Clapsaddle. She will speak on Cherokee-American Narrative at 2:15 pm at the Stryker Center and will be available to sign books from 3pm to 4pm. Additionally, the festival sponsors a well-known author of children’s literature to meet with students in local schools. The 2022 Youth headliner is Sarah Glenn Marsh, author of Fear the Drowning Deep, the Reign of the Fallen series, and several books for younger readers. Returning to the event are featured Virginia poets laureate along with a diverse array of talented authors and fine regional publishers and exceptional writers. New for this year, the Book Festival will kick off their first youth writing contest, sponsored by publisher Pale Horse Books,
