There are over 10,000 children and youth living in foster care in Massachusetts. We believe that every one of these children deserve a safe and supported family to provide loving care for them. Ideally, as often as possible, that family is the child's biological family through safe and timely family reunification. In the meantime, there is an urgent need for more kind and loving temporary foster families and, when necessary, permanent adoptive families. Faith compels the Christian community to be part of the solution by extending radical love and hospitality to children and families in our community.
If you have ever thought about becoming an adoptive or foster parent now is a great time to consider taking the step! If you do, we want to be sure your questions get answered.
Join us on November 28th at Middleton Congregational Church for an Adoption and Foster Care Information Meeting. You will hear from foster care and adoption specialists from DCF as well as current adoptive and foster families. You will also have the opportunity to ask your questions. This is a no-obligation opportunity to learn more!
Email [email protected] with any questions. We hope to see many of you there!
