The Choral Society of Middle Georgia with the Mercer University Choir present "The Messiah", by George Frideric Handel. This magnificent oratorio, written in 1741, continues to celebrate the birth and life of Jesus Christ as told in scripture. It continues to awe listeners 250 years after the death of the composer. Conducted by Dr Stanley Roberts and accompanied by Jonathan Poe.
