Have some fun and work a 3 or 4 hour shift each day, starting at 7am. We need people to help us sort packages as when arrive each day at 7am You will be standing for most of this time, sorting packages onto delivery routes, which are then delivered in the greater Boston area. Suite 14, Southborough MA 01772 Duties & Responsibilities Some of your duties may include: Receive and prepare inventory for delivery Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks Build, sort and organize bins of small packages Receive truck deliveries You'll also need to be able to: Lift up to 25 pounds Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around Go up and down stairs (where applicable) What it's like in our small warehouse: Safety. Your safety is important to us, so we provide protective gear where required. All teams share safety tips daily. Surroundings. You'll be working in a small clean, well-organized warehouse building, with tall ceilings with adjacent rack storage. Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place, walking around, or climbing stairs. Dress code. Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required. Why You'll Love this Job Stay busy. Each day a small team of 3 to 6 individuals will be working together to off-load bins of packages from a tractor trailer and then sorting the packages into routes. The load-out process would be to assist incoming delivery drivers to locate their routes and assist with the load out. Schedule: This is a 4-hour early morning schedule. Start time is 4am and load-out is completed at 8am. Depending on where you work, schedules may include Full time (40 hours), reduced-time (30-36 hours) or part-time (20 hours or less), all with the option of working additional hours if needed. Shift flexibility. Our work week is Monday through Saturday. While we would like you to work all six days, you can choose a schedule that suits you. Pay. You are paid $15 an hour and you can expect to be paid weekly and by direct deposit. Team environment. Work on a small team with members with support each other.
