I am a skilled guitarist/bassist versatile in many genres; jazz, pop, blues r&b, classical, country, etc. I have played in numerous bands over the years and have been fortunate to open for some high profile performers, such as Jack Johnson, Switchfoot, Greyboy Allstars, Karl Denson, Steel Pulse, G-Loce and Special Sauce, Something Corporate, David Lindsey, Galactic, etc. While I have the ability to perform with a lot of polish, my style is a little more shoot-from -the-hip edge, sort of like a a mash up of Sublime and Sarah Vaughan. Ideally I am looking for another talented guitarist who does not mind doubling on bass, or whatever instrument makes the most sense for the song. Vocals are a plus for lead and harmony. I would like to focus on originals with a goal of performing and recording. Covers are okay so long as we can put our own spin on it. I am not interested in playing folk or bluegrass. I won’t play Wagon Wheel! If you are a versatile female vocalist and what I’ve written resonates with you, I would be interested in possibly working together.
