Shipping and Receiving Clerk FULL-TIME $18/hr 2300 Scarbrough Dr, Austin, TX 78728 • Read shipping orders to determine the quantity and type of transportation needed. • Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents, and gather and maintain all data relative to shipping activities. • Collect all documentation for outboard freight and route it to the proper record-keeping unit. • Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped. • Schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. • Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and issue instructions for loading products. • Operate equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and more safely and efficiently. • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment. • Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance of equipment. • Perform additional duties as required and or requested Compensation: This is a non-exempt, hourly role. Hourly rates start at $18+, plus Over Time (paid at 1.5x), plus Bonuses. Annual pay for new hires generally ranges between $47,100 and $64,600 or more, depending on experience, overtime hours worked, and bonuses.
