Number of openings: 1 Fulltime, Year Round Location: Refrigeration – Old Station Working Shift: Day Shift Hours & Work Days: 6:00 am – 3:30 pm, Tuesday - Saturday; May vary depending on production. This position will require a pre-employment drug test. External applicants may apply online at www.stemilt.com Current Stemilt employees if interested in transferring may apply in your UKG mobile app. Summary: The objective of this position is to perform daily rounds monitoring readings as well as the repair and maintenance of Refrigeration equipment. This position is at entry level. Qualifications: • Basic knowledge of Controlled Atmosphere. • Basic welding experience • Required to wear SCBA gear while performing job functions. • Knowledge of refrigeration and repair of equipment. • Must have own tools to make equipment repairs. • Computer skills required. • Must NOT be afraid of height (ability to climb ladders and long flights of stairs). • Required to use man and Arial lifts. • Ability to read, write and speak English. • Must be flexible with work schedule. • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions. • Universal Refrigeration Disposal Certificate desired. • Knowledge of electrical equipment and controls. • At least 1 year of mechanical skills needed. • A valid Washington State Driver’s License, a good driving record, and own vehicle. Responsibilities: • Will be responsible for monitoring CA rooms and equipment. • Document CA records. • Probe calibrations. • Clean defrost pans • Water treatment. • Repair refrigeration equipment. • Other duties may encompass other than the duties listed.
