I hear a lot of people blaming inflation on Joe Biden. While I am certainly not someone who generally sides with one politician over another, this news out of Mississippi deserves acknowledgment. The Mississippi river is so low that cargo ships have been forced to reduce their loads by as much as 45%! That increase in shipping cost is being passed on to consumers. Nothing magical or mysterious about that, just simple math. Combine that with the reopening of supply chains ravaged by covid and the inflation we are experiencing was totally predictable. Now why cant we get together and instead of pointing fingers at one another lets roll up our sleeves and get to work! We can do this!
