Dairy farmer needed. Our 240 cow Vermont family dairy farm is seeking a herdsperson. We have been milking with 4 Lely robots for over ten years, grow all our own forages and some grain and raise all our own replacement heifers.
The right person for this job will be able to work alone as well as with a good team, enjoy working with a nice herd of cattle be detail oriented and interested in learning new skills. Valid drivers license required.
Duties include herd health and management, record keeping, some equipment operation and basic barn work. This is a diverse job where no two days are the same.
