As a receiving clerk you will log deliveries and ensure the quantity delivered corresponds to the number stated on the invoice, as well as pick and pack items for shipment. You will be handling and managing drilling bits and accessories used in mining. You will update the database and manage the inventory. You must have computer skills, organization, and the ability to manage and maintain an inventory. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Shift: Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm OR Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm This includes a ½ hour paid lunch and break! (Typically you will take your break and lunch together, for a 45 minute, company paid break!) Payrate: $17.05 per hour base rate – increases upon permanent hire-- PLUS $100 attendance bonus= $19.55 per hour! Inventory Clerk Duties: · Update inventory count and maintaining inventory records. · Report any discrepancies or damages in inventory · Receive and count incoming orders · Label stock items as needed · General picking and packing as needed Requirements: · Prior Warehouse Experience · Strong previous work experience (committed to a previous warehouse job for 1+ year) Work Environment: · This is a non-smoking campus. No smoke breaks are provided · You must bring your own lunch. · Steel toed footwear required. Once hired on: · This is a union facility. For the first four months the client will pay your union dues. Upon hire, you will be expected to pay your own union dues as well as a one time initiation fee. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO JOIN THE UNION UPON HIRE.
