We are a small business specializing in custom diamond grinding wheels. We're looking for help in our electroplating department. Our shop has a relaxed atmosphere and a small team of friendly co-workers. No experience is necessary, and we'll provide all the training you'll need to succeed here. This position is perfect for anyone who enjoys crafts or working with their hands, who pays close attention to detail. Experience in a manufacturing field or mechanical inclination would be a plus, but is not required if you are ready to learn. Most of the physical work is easy, but there is occasionally some heavy lifting - a small number of our wheels weigh 20 to 50 lbs or more. We have shifts available in the early morning and early afternoon. There is some room for discussion of the exact hours if it will better fit your availability. If you are interested in a full-time position please let us know. Starting pay is $14.00 an hour, with a production bonus program (generally it is at least another $2.00 an hour) available after the first 90 days for employees who excel during that time.
