Description

Participate in Food and Circadian Timing Research at OHSU We are looking for healthy people aged 18-40 for a study focused on food and the timing of the internal body clock. We are investigating how what you eat may influence your internal body clock (called the circadian rhythm). Eligible participants must be lean with no current medication use and no history of cancer, heart disease, or other chronic illness. Initial screening involves 2-5 hospital visits followed by tracking everything you eat and drink for 1-week on a phone application. If successfully completed, we will provide meals to eat at home for up to 2 weeks on 2 separate occasions (total of 4 weeks). We will ask that these meals are the only thing you eat during this time. Following each of these 2-weeks of meals, you will stay in a laboratory suite for 9 consecutive days and nights in the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute at OHSU on 2 occasions (18 days total) separated by approximately a month. Compensation up to $6,400 will be provided. IRB#: 22478, PI: Andrew W McHill, PhD
