***If you are interested in this, your response must have the info requested or no reply*** Seeking 2nd guitar for new cover band focused on 90's 00's rock with some pop and country. Song selection that is upbeat, fun and positive to keep people engaged. Will provide set list that's already determined; all hits that will sell the band. Defined concepts sell better than cobbled together set lists. Currently have drums, bass and guitar/vocals with strong lead capability. All in our 50's. Lead work can be split with another suitable player OR a good rhythm player is welcome. You need to be comfortable moving at a brisk pace; i.e. learning and remembering songs on your time, not ours. Likely about 3-4 new songs a week. Also need to have a basic handle on theory so we can easily work out details as we go (nothing fancy, just understand keys, structure and more than just the pentatonic scale). Free commercial space at ground level for rehearsals. We'll work up the show weekly then cut back as we book. Desired qualities: -you live within 20-30 miles or so from Burnsville. -Newer technology amplification; Kemper/Fractal/Helix users strongly preferred. Open to using IEM system -You respond promptly to communication/can be easily reached. No hermits/anti-socials/luddites -Work daytime hours M-F without a lot of regular travel -Being in a band is your priority as far as hobbies/free time go.
