Our team designs, prints, and ships more than 800 monthly publications across the country. Our mission is to help small businesses win every day. As our newest Senior Maintenance Technician, you’ll join our Operations team as a full-time team member working in our Arlington, Texas print shop. We’re looking for someone with strong equipment maintenance and repair skills to keep our press and binding equipment functioning at peak performance. Keep reading and then apply today via the link below! In a Typical Day, You Would: Diagnose and make necessary repairs to print shop equipment. Execute and document preventative maintenance for all print shop equipment to help reduce downtime events and mean time between failures. Ensure N2 maintains minimum inventory levels for equipment replacement parts. Communicate with vendors to coordinate and assist with equipment repairs. Oversee aspects of building maintenance affecting the print shop uptime. Develop the knowledge of operators to increase awareness of their impact on the equipment. To Land This Gig, You Need to: Have 3-5 years of experience repairing or working on heavy machinery / print shop equipment (HP presses, binders and finishing). Have an intermediate to advanced understanding of electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. Pass a background check (including a clean motor vehicle report) and a drug test – when it comes to your safety, we don’t mess around! Possess a fundamental to intermediate understanding of computers. Effectively communicate equipment malfunctions verbally and in writing. Willing to work outside of operational hours to repair and maintain equipment. Have the ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery components according to equipment blueprints / diagrams.
