You will install, service, and repair home elevators, wheelchair lifts, stairlifts, and other similar mobility equipment. Experience in home remodeling and handyman activities is a plus. Responsibilities: Install new stairlifts, platform lifts, and elevator systems Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements Perform routine preventative maintenance Respond to emergency maintenance requests Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Qualifications: A professional in appearance and strong work ethic Excellent attitude and a ability to work with older adults Previous experience in elevators, stairlifts, or similar equipment installation or other related fields Familiarity with wiring diagrams, electro-mechanical systems, and general knowledge of mechanical systems Ability to handle physical workload Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Authorized to work in the United States Requirements: Reliable transportation Basic hand tools and power tools United States Driver's License Read, write, and speak english References Rate: $19 to $21 Hourly Part & Full-Time Work week is Monday - Friday 8:am - 5:pm. However, since most of our work is scheduled with our clients, start times and end times may vary. The job may require occasional weekend work. Preferred Education: Trade school degree or Technical associates degree Bachelor’s degree is a plus The higher the education level, the more opportunity to grow professionally within the company.
