Description
1- For many years, we enjoyed congress that compromised, worked across the aisle for the good of American people. But alas, the American electorate is a fickle lot, easily distracted, and quick to lose interest. Most people get bored with the slow moving pace to enact legislation. So, congress stimulated political interest to ensure their political parties' power by pretend wars amongst themselves. Further, they distracted by making the dim-witted electorate believe it was the executive branch that made national decisions that impact our daily lives.
2- What arose, was a society that become very interested, but equally polarized as congress pretended to be. Now, it has become fashionable for the most extreme factions of BOTH parties to be most vocal, thus most in the news. The last time it was the right, but rest assured, the next time it could very well be a leftist extremist in power.
3- We certainly still have a choice. We the people need to vote out extremist factions of BOTH parties and return to a nation that is strongest on the planet. Or we can try another civil war, I suppose. That didn't work so well for us the first time though. YOUR CHOICE.
