Every election cycle, we see the same pattern. The Democrats promise the world to the working class to earn our votes, but once in power they turn their backs on us. From the overturn of Roe v Wade, to anti-trans laws across the country, to inflation, to student debt, to police brutality, and on and on, attacks on the working class are only intensifying. If the Democrats actually defended the working class and fought in our interests, expropriating big businesses and rooting out prejudice of all kinds, they would be swept into office in every election by the youth, the working class, and the oppressed. However, like the Republicans, they are a party of the bosses, and therefore incapable of acting in our interests.
