Are you looking to learn a new trade, with on-the-job training and room for growth? We are actively seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assistant Pool Service Technician to join our company. We will train you to assist in service and maintenance of our customer’s swimming pools. Our ideal applicant would be a self-starter with a solid work ethic and willingness to learn. More importantly, our Pool Service Technicians know how to interact with our customers in a friendly and professional manner. ASSISTANT POOL SERVICE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES: • Unlock the Pool Service cart from the truck and walk it into the pool area • Carefully avoid damage to customer’s property and landscaping • Test water and enter testing results into phone app • Review chemical dosing with Pool Technician • Add proper dosages to the pool as advised • Empty pump and skimmer baskets of all debris • Assist the Pool Technician as needed to finish and clean up job location • Leave the work area better than it was found • Checking that there are no drips or leaks, return cart to truck and secure w/safety strap • Replenish cart and load with anything that might be needed at next stop • Assist Pool Technician as needed with text notifications and reports to the office ASSISTANT POOL TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS: • Valid unexpired driver’s license • Use of personal phone to utilize required routing and water balance apps • Willingness to learn about swimming pool chemicals and their properties • Ability to pass a basic math skills test • Ability to lift heavy equipment • Ability to work in harsh weather conditions • Professional appearance (tattoos are okay, but we do have dress code requirements) EXPECTED PAY: Starting at $16.50/hour Pay increases will come with ability, eagerness to learn, certifications and with advancement to the following positions: • Pool Technician I • Pool Technician II • Repair Trainee • Repair Technician BENEFITS: • Paid Time Off • Paid Holidays • On the Job Paid Training • Paid Certification Training SHIFT TIMES: • Currently Monday-Friday 7:00-3:30 with overtime if needed to complete daily route • We are considering a Monday-Friday workweek (4 10-hour shifts) w/occasional Friday overtime required.
