Navigating the waters of pop, folk and Americana with a wonderfully sublime voice, the singer-songwriter has been making all the right moves in her adopted state of New York. Originally hailing from New Haven, Connecticut, it has taken her 10 years to reach a place where her dreamy and captivating music is ready for the world to hear. Trained in jazz guitar, she has an extensive musical background which shines through in every song she carefully creates. Crafting ethereal vocal harmonies complemented by enduring live instrumentation, her music explores messages of love, self-esteem, mental health, sexuality and many more. Her debut EP “Holding Onto Something Good” is a Jewel inspired release and a serious nod to the experience she had playing around the coffee bars in New Haven. The title track, “Holding Onto Something Good,” is a re-recording of her debut track from February 2021, updated with more polished production. With three other tracks, “Honey Bee,” “Skinny Dipping” and “Two of Us” appearing on the EP, her music is delivering on every single promise she has ever made. Sabrina Trueheart has now done her apprenticeship and is moving towards a horizon of endless possibilities.
