Join us Saturday, November 19th at 6pm as we celebrate the collaborative HER Project and gear up to showcase the entire gallery! The HER Project is a Signature Collection of Complexions and Words. This is a partnership with curators Internationally recognized, Danielle Trina Photography and poet and author Patrice Diechelle. The creators have a dozen incredible women who have been photographed by Danielle Trina and have a self-written poem to each person. The collaborative HER project is about elevating and empowering the unity and diversity women share. “We have more in common than our outside shells often allow us to realize.” Many universal threads bind us all. We all have a story, we each see our story differently through our lenses, and yet somehow deep inside, somewhere in the threads that combine us all, our stories are so much the same. We will use the word HER as a common theme throughout this project with phrases: HER Children, HER With Child, HER In love, HER Empowered, HER Emotions, HER Unraveled, HER Survival, HER Body, HER Surrender, Collectively HER, Courageously HER, and Unapologetically HER. The project will invite viewers to the way the photographer sees the world through her lens and into the way she sees the beauty of the world even when it’s not pretty “and how she sources her own life from its presence.” Our collaborative poet will add her signature words aligning to each picture for a poem connected to each image for the final images to be incorporated into a gallery.
