Two Happy Fancy Chicken Friends - MUST be kept together!!

We have a pair of young (roughly 4 months old) very fancy-ankled chickens... (believed to be one male & one female, however that is just a very uninformed guess, they could be any combination of the two for all we know)....who are the best of friends with hilarious and entertaining personalities which we wish that we could keep for ourselves, however we currently lack the proper environment to accommodate the feathery friends. Therefore we are seeking a safe & loving FOREVER home where the pair can live our their days together. We must insist that they are NOT used for food, bait or any other purpose that would cause them distress or harm. They are simply intended to bring many laughs, lots of love and joy to anyone who can provide them a safe place to live. Chickens are a great option for pet lovers who cannot have cats or dogs due to allergies. They love to eat oats and corn,(they hate black beans!) And they are very playful and annimated. They sometimes peck but are incapable of actually causing pain or injury, therefore I'd be confident in saying that they would be perfectly fine to keep around children, as long as the children were kind, gentle & respectful to the birds. We are asking a flexible rehoming fee of $10. This is very negotiable to the right situation. Because their wellbeing is a high priority to us, we ask that anyone hoping to take them home be willing to have a conversation with us so that we can evaluate your intentions and do the best we can to ensure that these funny critters are going into a safe and loving situation.
