Let's Reconnect and Spark Interest among Hawaii's Filipino Youth in the Practice of Law. Join us for HFLA's Annual Meeting as we elect new officers, eat delicious Filipino food, and network with each other and young Filipinos eager to embark in a career in law. Our theme this year is "SPARKS & RECONNECTIONS" - focusing on HFLA's commitment to foster engagement with the Filipino Community; inspire students to explore a career in law; broaden professional opportunities for HFLA members; and promote the exchange of ideas and information within the Filipino legal community. Our honored guests: HFLA's future. We will be inviting a limited number of local high school, college, and law school students with Filipino heritage to learn more about Filipinos in the practice of law. Our Menu: Pancit canton; Veggie (Vegan?) Pinakbet; Bistek w/ onions; Sinigang na Bangus; Chicken Afritalis; Lechon Kawali; Turon; and HFLA's own Rob Vasquez's personal creation: Bicol Express We are excited to bring our annual meeting this year to the FilCom Center - our host and sponsor.
