Position Summary: Our Pool Technician is responsible for a wide range of repair and maintenance skills related to pools. These include weekly maintenance, chemical balance, brushing, skimming, vacuuming, filter cleaning emptying skimmer baskets and minor repairs. Essential Functions: - Adjusts and maintains weekly chemical balance. - Performs weekly cleaning including brushing, skimming and empty skimmer baskets. - Clean filters when necessary. - Perform necessary repairs related to pool filters and pumps. - Work within time sensitive deadlines. - May work with a team of technicians to accomplish larger projects. - Able to work independently with little to no supervision. - Can handle projects at multiple properties. - Maintains inventory of commonly used products and equipment. - Ability to effectively communicate with other employees both in person, written and via electronic channels. - Candidates must have a reliable truck as transportation and their own tools. Physical Demands/Environment Factors: - Must be able to hold and grip objects, bend, squat, kneel, climb, crawl, and reach overhead. - Must be able to work in awkward positions that require a twist and turn of torso. - Push and pull up to 50 pounds. - Requires significant use of personal computer, phone, and general office equipment. - Needs adequate visual acuity, ability to grasp and handle objects. - Ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone. - Requires working outside. - May require off-site travel, possible out-of-state travel.
