Let's Get Together & Unite in Service! Join your fellow AmeriCorps members serving across the state of Alaska to the annual AmeriCorps Member Gathering hosted by Serve Alaska. This celebration of service will be hosted on March 8th through 10th in the heart of Downtown Anchorage at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel & Spa. United in Service - 2023 AmeriCorps Member Gathering will be a great opportunity to connect with likeminded members, learn about life after AmeriCorps, and further develop service skills to continue the impact you're having on your communities. The three-day training will be designed in the following format: March 8th: 11pm-4pm; lunch and a snack break will be provided March 9th: 8:30am-5pm; light breakfast, lunch, and 2 snack breaks March 10h: 8:30am-4pm; light breakfast, lunch, and 2 snack breaks Theme – United in ServiceWhat to expect? An opportunity to learn, grow, get creative and bond with AmeriCorps members across the State. A chance to get inspired, re-visit our notions of service and come up with innovative ideas on how we can best serve our communities during and after AmeriCorps service. There will be a combination of speakers, workshops, and team building activities. Dress Code - Smart Casual (or dressy casual) is basically a combination of casual, business casual and business dress codes, where you can combine them into a "smart" ensemble.
