Unified Utility Services is a Utility construction company building fiber optic cable in the Florence and surrounding areas. We are in need of Labors to work with our crews that have valid driver's license. You will be working with one of our utility bucket truck crews building fiber cable in the air on utility poles. this is a physically demanding position that requires you to be able to lift 50 plus pounds, pull heavy lines and work in all weather conditions up to 7 days per week. you will be driving the bucket truck, loading materials, flagging traffic and performing all duties assigned by your crew leader. This is a opportunity to not only have a job but to establish a career in the utility construction industry. you will make above average money due to this being a production-based pay position. you can expect to make 800.00 plus dollars per week. The crew gets paid by the foot for fiber installed. Depending on your position on the crew your paid a percentage of that production which as a Laborer/driver is 27.5% of the truck. work week goes mon thru Sunday, turn production in on monday and get paid the following monday via direct deposit. you must have dependable transportation to and from our muster site which is our hotel, working cell phone and have no substance abuse issues. we start work at 7am and work until the foreman determines the crew is done, you must have no conflicts that will affect your ability to work late and on weekends, if you meet all these requirements and want to learn a trade please email this ad with your name,phone number you can be reached at and any qualities or experience that will allow you to stand out above the rest like flagger, CDL, etc....
