Make $40.-$50./hr. extra money this winter plowing snow around Lafayette. Must be available and able to work 6-10 hour shifts any time it snows 2": early in the morning, weekends, and around the holidays. Requires some shoveling and using a snowblower. We are a small local company and we try to do a good job every time, so we hire reliable people who take pride in their work and pay a little more in than others. This is a good fit for someone who cannot work at their normal job when it snows, such as a roofer, landscaper, handyman, window washer, mason… This job also works well for someone who is self employed and can set their own hours. If you have a flexible work schedule in your current job, so that you can be on-call for snow removal, and you can get up early, like 1-2AM - this job could be for you. I feel the key is already having a job with flexible hours, because this job is part-time extra money and not a steady income. Good mechanical skills, communication skills, and a clean driving record are required. The ability to work in a physically demanding job outdoors is also required. When it snows, we usually start at 3:00 AM. and we go for 8-12 hours, depending on how much snow we get. We prefer people that have a 4WD/AWD, and live nearby Lafayette.
