They were not doing okay when I found them. Ransom was not using his back legs at all and the vet told me he had probably been hurt as a puppy and was paralyzed on his back end. Then both dogs were diagnosed with parvo and were in the animal hospital for a few days. Thankfully, they are all better and as ransom has healed he has actually started using his back legs! It turns out it was an unusual reaction to Parvo. He is still gaining back mobility but he is getting there.
